2016 Ramadan Putrajaya : Palm Hill Cafe Putrajaya Shangri-La Hotel - Buka Puasa Iftar BBQ Buffet



Berbuka Puasa at Putrajaya with a BBQ Buffet with your family and friends this Ramadan. Palm Hill Cafe Putrajaya Shangri-La Hotel, Selangor brings you a special BBQ buffet together with scrumptious kampung-style flavours from various Malaysian states and International cuisines.


The BBQ buffet is available from 6th June 2016 to 3rd July 2016 from 7pm to 9.30pm daily with rotating dishes for you to taste.


With the wide selection of dishes, one will be spoilt for choices to start with. You can begin the buffet with the Malay Kerabu or the Ulam-Ulam Kampung with a variety of sambal dips, 


and some of the International appetiser like Mixed Garden Salad with a choice of dressings such as Thousand Island, French Dressing, Olive oil and so forth


For the main dish, we like the Ayam Masak Kicap Berempah


and the Daging Dendeng



or the Lamb Qurma


while for fans of Patin, you can try out the Patin Masak Tempoyak


or the Sotong Goreng Tepung


other main dishes are the Stir Fried Prawns with Kam Heong Sauce;


while fans of Westerns delights can relish on the Stir Fried New Zealand Mussel with Black Pepper and Capsicum


or the succulent Marinated Thyme Roast Beef with Mushroom Sauce


or the Pan Seared Seabass with Lemon Butter Sauce


On offer at one of the Live Station is the Nasi Lemak Kukus with Puyuh Goreng.



The Quail are fried ala-minute which gives a perfect crisp to the skin and it was finger licking good.


For the BBQ stations, you will be served an assortment of grilled dishes which are the Grilled Whole Lamb



Grilled Lamb Shoulder 


Grilled Ayam Percik


Grilled Lamb Shish Kebab


Fish Tikka; you can eat these grilled BBQ items with a choice of Naan Bread and sauces such as Mint Sauce, Dijon Mustard and so on.


For those that have the stomach for some Rojak, you can sample out the made your own Rojak Singapore.


There are a number of soups that are available i.e. Mushroom Soup, Bubur Lambuk Daging, and the Thai Seafood Tom Yam.


For dessert, you can start off with the Tiramisu


or the choices of Malays Kuih and assorted fruits fritters like Pisang Goreng or the Keledek Goreng


and western desserts like pastry, pudding, mousse, and cakes to satisfy your cravings.
